Surveying or Land Surveying is the technique, profession, art and science of determining the terrestrial or three-dimensional points and the distances and angles between them. Land surveying professionals are called ‘land surveyors’ though in modern times they are referred to as a surveyor, geomatics engineer or spatial engineer.
