Project Management

Water solutions specializes in Engineering Project Management. This is a type of project management that focuses solely on engineering projects. It uses all of the same standard methodologies and processes as any other type of project management.

Engineering project management is focused on managing engineering projects. An example may be a project to design a new office building. Engineering project management requires the management of all aspects of the project. Not just management of the engineers or the engineering work.

steps we follow for project MANAGEMENT

A great way to assess the capabilities of a project manager or a management team is to see how they approach the initial stages of a project. At Water solutions, we follow the following basic steps to start the project off the right way:

  1. Identify and meet the stake holders
A stakeholder is anyone who is affected by the results of your project plan. That includes your customers and end users.

  2. Set and Prioritize Goals
Prioritize the stakeholders and set specific project goals. These should outline project objectives, or the metrics and benefits to achieve.

  3. Define Deliverables
Identify the deliverables and project planning steps required to meet the project's goals. Estimate due dates for each deliverable in the project plan

  4. Create Project Schedule
Look at each deliverable and define the series of tasks that must be completed to accomplish each one. For each task, determine the amount of time it will take, the resources necessary, and who will be responsible for execution.

  5. Identify Issues and Complete a Risk Assessment
Conduct a risk assessment and develop a risk management strategy to make sure you are prepared.

  6. Present the Project Plan to Stakeholders
The plan will be presented to the stake holders. This could be you as our customer. It will not be a one-sided presentation, but rather a discussion where we are looking for your feedback.
